Help local churches avoid the leadership failures that damage faith and wound God's people. Prevention is better than correction.
I’ve served as a lay elder for over two decades across multiple churches. I’ve experienced both healthy leadership and toxic abuse. I’ve helped plant a church and watched good governance structures fail when leaders chose politics over biblical principles.
I’ve been removed from leadership—stripped of my elder chairman position and placed on “inactive” status—in clear violation of both Scripture and our church’s own bylaws. My removal wasn’t due to disqualification, but because I pursued the biblical accountability that made others uncomfortable. I’ve seen how corrupt leadership wounds believers and damages The Church’s witness.
But I’ve also learned what works, what doesn’t, and what it really costs to stand for biblical truth when human leaders prefer organizational peace over scriptural obedience. My goal isn’t to wound The Church further, but to help local churches implement the kind of leadership that honors Christ and demonstrates His character to watching communities.
