Why I Created This System
After 23+ years serving as a lay elder—including being removed from leadership for pursuing biblical accountability—I've learned some painful lessons about church governance.
I've witnessed unqualified men damage congregations, seen elder boards focus more on budgets than shepherding, and experienced firsthand the cost of standing for biblical principles when others choose organizational peace over truth.
My experiences have actually strengthened my faith in God while making me more realistic about human institutions. I've learned that The Church—Christ's universal body—is far more resilient than any particular local congregation.
This system represents hard-won wisdom from someone who's tried to implement biblical eldership and paid the price for it. Don't learn these lessons the hard way—benefit from my experience.
